Dry Fly 1/2 Cape - bronze

Better than expected quality for a bronze label, lots of long feathers with a consistent width allowing for tying multiple flies. These half necks are great, especially for any colors less frequently used.
The packaging was low quality, just a weatherproof envelope and a very thin cardboard insert (thinner than the hackle backer card). This, combined with the actions of our psycho mail lady who apparently rammed the package into our box with a toilet plunger or similar implement, left a somewhat bent-up half neck of hackle.

Great neck. Feathers are almost too small. Only a few 12s on the one I got, dont even know how small they go but even the tiny ones at the top are long enough to tie with. Extremely long feathers for a neck, could probably get 4 or more flies out of a lot of the feathers. Will definitely get more of these. A half neck will last me years, so many more feathers than my cheep necks i bough years ago. They are whiting too but i could easily tie 2 to 3 times the flies with the half bronze neck than a full neck of one of my old ones. I thought my old necks were decent necks but now I see they are garbage :)

Whiting hackle is by far the best in the industry. These 1/2 capes give a wide range of high quality feathers. Typically size ranges between 8-28 on a given cape.
