G.S.P (Gel Spun Polyethylene) is by far the strongest thread on the planet. Distinct from other brands, Veevus G.S.P. thread has been designed with a slight twist preventing it from opening up, and thereby making tying with it a breeze. It lays completely flat and is the smoothest thread to spin hair with. Veevus is the first to offer 30 denier GSP, the lightest in the market. Each spool contains 75m which is 60% more thread than offered by others.

This is got to be one of my most favorite threads to tie flies with, especially for Pike and muskie it grips great with the materials. There's no spinning, no turning bonds. Great with different kinds of cements. It's great all the way around and I've never broken my thread when tying flies with this. Just an overall great product

It's a learning curve

I had never tied using GSP prior so it was a learning curve .. for me anyway. It was a bit slippery and unmanageable in the beginning until I got used to it. It is a very strong thread.
