Nano Silk Thread 12/0

I love this thread for so many reasons and I originally purchased the entire set years ago however now I just buy black, olive and white being my most popular colors and I color the white thread if I need another color. The only thing I don't like is the amount of material you get for the price. Other than that it's my favorite material for anything smaller than size 12 hooks.

I have been using Nano Silk for several years now and think it is great stuff, especially when tying on deer hair because it can be flattened and is unbreakable when applying tension. I often add just a small amount of super glue to the hook before laying down a thread base, as it is quite slippery. However, the small diameter and great strength are the bonuses.

Wow! This stuff lies very flat and supper fine. Great for tying very small flies with only the smallest of buildup, nearly zero. Great for super thin midges and all flies where you need the least buildup.
