This premium 6/0 thread from Veevus in Denmark is stronger than many other comparable threads and will not result in excessive build-up. 100 meters per spool.
I have other brands of threads but I'm starting to buy only Veevus products. My opinion Veevus threads are strong without bulk. I also prefer to order spooled materials from J Stockard. I like how they place spooled materials in a zip lock bag before placing them in packing envelope. A while ago I ordered from another online company and a hole was torn in the packing envelope losing half of the stuff I ordered. Good to know they add a second line of defense to guard against this type of mishap.

Super strong, Great Color
The Red 6/0 has great color, particularly if you use it for collars or heads and apply UV glue. The 6/0 is super strong and thick, I would recommend Veevus 10/0 or 12/0 for tying flies in the #16-12 size range.
