This premium 12/0 midge thread from Veevus in Denmark is stronger than many other comparable threads and will not result in excessive build-up. 100 meters per spool.
It works perfectly for the type of flies that I needed to tie.

Less is more
I have used mostly 6/0 and 8/0 thread. Needed a thread for smaller flies w/ no bulk. Went with 10/0 and 12/0. Was pleasantly surprised how well the 12/0 worked even on #16 flies. Easy to use, great strength and less bulk.

Veevus Thread
I wanted to try Veevus thread and Semperfli thread after years of using UTC. I have tried both and the Veevus is excellent compared to the UTC. The color i chose is perfect and it's a very strong tying thread for its size. The only downside is the amount on the spool but this is really an observation more than a complaint.
