Tyers Mate Metallic Nymph-it is a strong twisted thread material designed to run through a bobbin for wrapping segmented nymph bodies, tight ribs, and hot heads on competition-style patterns. The metallic finish catches light in the water column without flash overkill, offering enough reflectivity to add visual interest to a Perdigon or slim nymph body without overwhelming the silhouette. A coat of UV resin over the top locks the wraps and amplifies the metallic sheen considerably.
