This is a really basic hook but it does exactly what it needs to do.

I like these hooks, especially in the smallest of sizes. I don’t mind a barb, which I smash down, in size 14 and bigger - since I’ll use a dropper with those and find those will hold the dropper better. When tying dry flies, I reach for these first.
