Semperfli has taken natural marabou bloods to the next level with this amazing Synthetic Crystal Marabou chenille which has a stunning translucence. Synthetic Crystal Marabou is a single sided translucent chenille that can be wrapped around the hook to create streamer tails or bodies.

Semperfli looked at one of the staples of fly tying, natural marabou feathers, and applied their expertise to developing a synthetic alternative. Used in countless streamers and fly patterns, marabou is found in almost every fly fishers fly box. More and more often is is hard to find high quality feathers. Synthetic marabou offers an alternative with consistent quality and performance and ease of use. As a result, the Semperfli team decided to make a synthetic marabou which can be used as a tail for woolly buggers and as winging and tails of streamers. Highly mobile, Semperfli Synthetic Marabou is made from a very fine core around which the Synthetic Marabou fibers are extruded.
