The Renzetti Presentation 4000 with Deluxe Stem Support is the 4000 platform built for tyers who regularly work at the heavy end of the hook range — large saltwater patterns, dense deer hair bass bugs, multi-material pike flies — where sustained lateral force at the vise head benefits from additional rigidity below it.

The Deluxe Stem Support addresses a specific mechanical reality: when you're spinning a heavily-loaded fly, wrapping tight thread pressure onto a wide-gap hook, or building up significant material mass on a long shank, the forces at the stem junction are higher than trout tying generates. The standard 4000 stem handles those forces adequately; the Deluxe Stem Support handles them with no flex at all. The practical result is a vise that rotates with identical play-free smoothness whether the hook in the jaws is a size 20 RS2 or a chunky saltwater baitfish hook — the support prevents any micro-movement at the stem without adding friction to the rotary action.

Everything above the stem is standard Presentation 4000.
