This material ties easily for gamechangers. However if you are too aggressive brushing it out (and it will need brushing out) you can end up pulling it apart. It is also expensive. Two three flies per package for a four inch fly. Takes color with a art marker type pen- but not that well or that permanently.

Great for game changers and other streamers where you want the light to suggest movement.
