Kapok Dry Fly Dubbing

I decided to try the Kapok dubbing because I wanted the fluro red color. The color is very uniform. This dubbing is very chunky and lacks the fiber length when compared to Wapsi Superfine. It is very fine fibers that you almost have to add to the thread in small portions to build your dubbing rope. That being said, it builds on the thread nice and fine, and its not hard to build a nicely dubbed body, thorax, or head with the Kapok. If your looking for a great dry fly dubbing, just be advised the texture is not the same as Superfine, but this is a nice product albeit a bit expensive.

This is the best dry fly dubbing I have used you can make a very small dubbing rope if needed nice colors the adams color is perfect.
