My go-to foam for ants
I like this foam for small (#16-18) ants. Manageable and durable which makes it ideal for my purposes.
Its also great for layering when tying beetles, hoppers, etc.
For me, dubbed ants are a thing of the past.

Foam is porous, not smooth.
Foam is porous, not smooth. I found it stiff and tough to work with. I won't spend time tying with it, as I don't feel confident in how it looks or how it will endure.
