Hareline Half Cape

Seems alight. I got them to make smaller streamer. So it gets the job done.

19 bucks for half a cape so I was not expecting much. Good barb count. Excellent color. The stems seen a bit stiff at the base but they are winding fine. Good value.

I bought 2 of the Hairline half capes recently. I was pleased with the barb density and the uniformity of barb length on each feather. The smaller sizes (18 & 20) were few and far between. Sizes 12 through 16 were, however, well represented. The feathers have a larger proportion of schlappen than more expensive capes, but there are ample lengths of good usable feathers. I expect to get more than my money’s worth in flies tied. In the end what more can you ask for?
