Hair Stacker Set

I love hair stackers and I collect them like some people would collect shot glasses for an example. I do try to rotate them so I do use them all…eventually.

I do realize the description picture isn’t an actual photo of the stacker. It does depict a brass colored stacker with a blue bottom. Mine appears to be stainless steel with a black bottom. It’s even a different shape. Not sure what that’s about.

I think there was another person that hit on the construction. The bottom feels heavy and sturdy but the top tubes are plastic. That’s a little disappointing. It was under $20 but still.

Overall I’m happy to add it to my collection and it works just fine. I think it would be a good travel stacker with the two sizes of tubes.

Great versatile stacker. I've used it many times with the small tube for stacking short Elk Hair for small EHC when not many fibers are needed. The larger tube works great for deer hair on larger flies. The hair fibers come out in alignment and easily without getting stuck in the tube.

I was looking for a versatile stacker. This one , with the two sized tubes and heavy base, works well for my needs. This is a very nice tool. You folks at J.S. Fly fishing are the best!
