Fly Tying LED Light

For a tier who ties on the go or in different places this light has been great so far. The mount and stem/arm are perfect when I need light and am not at my tying desk. I haven't had issues with the light itself like some others have mentioned-waiting to see how the batteries hold up over time. Overall very pleased and also like the fact that the light can be swapped with a different one if needed.

The mount is good, the light did not last very long. J Stockard's Customer Service reached out to provide a replacement light, so they get 5-Stars. I'd prefer to just buy the mount.

I basically liked this light; it is inexpensive, easy to attach to the base of a vise and it is very flexible/configurable. The reason I did not give it more stars is because the light quit working only after a few times that I used it. I did find a flashlight on the internet that barely fit. I had to find a new clamp/head bolt and nut to replace the one that came with the light because it was too short after replacing with a slightly larger light. While replacing the light, I was concerned I might break the head clamp, so I was very careful and only slightly forced the new light into the head clamp. The lights I purchases were found on Amazon. They are brighter and better lights, super bright and zoomable. The replacement lights (2 pack): Tactical LED Flashlight S1500 and the bar code label says: X003A9WHM3 RECHOO Tactical Flashlight... Camping and Outdoor Use. I think I paid around $10.00 for the 2 pack.
