I apply this after tying a dry fly before putting the fly in my box. The trick is a very light application. You can easily gum up the hackles which effects the presentation.

I bought this and the Aquel Gel. The Fly Spritz is easy to apply and works as good as the gel. Definitely would recomend this for ease of use. If you are debating as I was you can not go wrong with either.
