Makes beetle patterns look more natural
I use the medium size to tie smaller beetles and it helps tie more rounded bodies. I have to use a very sharp scissors to cut the round foam in half and then shape it a bit so that it looks natural on the hook. I then coat it with a UV resin to give the fly the same sheen as the exoskeleton of the beetle.
