This little guy is the best $3 I’ve spent on fly tying. I wish it was a little shorter - makes me want to check out the stonfo version, but this is fantastic.

Plunger Style Hackle Plier
I use it to grab hold of a dubbing loop after spinning it. I find it easier than using the dubbing whirl when wrapping the loop around the hook shank.

Do not buy
This was the worst and most useless thing I’ve ever bought online. It would not hold the feathers or hackles, totally worthless.
