Dry Fly Midge 1/2 Saddle - bronze

I was having a difficult time finding a hackle that was sized properly to use on my no. 20 midge dry flies. This one worked.

I like Whiting Farms hackle to begin with and this one didn't disappoint. Lots of hackle in the 20 - 22 sizes and even a decent amount in 24. I got a good hackle but your mileage may vary.

I needed grizzly hackle for more winter midges and mayflies and the Whiting Farms Midge1/2 saddles is perfect!

Package with a nice thick cardboard insert to protect the feathers, well played, JS staff.

Barred dark ginger is next. :)
