These definitely do the job, but they require more of a squeeze to open than I was expecting. This is probably good for bead retention, but not for ergonomics or speed. Tiers with arthritis or poor grip strength may have issues. Also, the design must have changed a bit. The beadzers I received lack the textured grip. The tips are also a little chunkier and/or the bead pockets are a little smaller than pictured.
As I said, they definitely do their job, but it wasn't 100% what I was expecting.
