Absolute Thin Point Scissors

These scissors improved the quality of my flies. The short blades with sharp narrow tips are good for very close clipping of threads or wayward hackle barbs. The short blades also allow very precise targeting of the narrow tips, rather than a longer scissors with more distance between the tips and the finger holes. This is especially helpful with shaky hands after a cup of (too) strong coffee. Why 4 and not 5 stars? The price, and uncertainty how long they'll last.

A great pair of scissors, very comfortable in the hand. The large elliptical finger loops offer a better fit when compared to round loops. The taper of the cutting edge provides an accurate detailed cut. They are smaller in length at 3.75", but a lot stronger than my other thin point scissors. They are without a doubt worth the money.

These quality Italian scissors are the second pair I have purchased in recent years and although their handles are small for my rather large hands, I find by putting onto my ring finger, left or right they fit snugly into the palm of my hand and I can tie continuously using my thumb to work the cutting.
Having used this pair since arriving a few days ago I am super pleased to advise that the second pair work as good as the first and I am looking forward to using them. They are not to be used these to cut anything but threads and feathers as metal objects do take the shine off the blades over a period of time and in doing so you will get years of life out of your purchase.
A full thumbs up to Kopter for the quality products they produce and I will continue to purchase into the future.
