6 Finger Scissors

I'd seen other tyers use scissors like these, so I tried them because I wanted scissors with short sharp tips. So far, they're a boon to the quality of my tying because I can make more precise cuts in tight spaces. They seem like a good alternative to the pricier scissors with short sharp tips, but I don't know yet how long they'll stay sharp.

Love these! Might take a bit of getting used to, but when you do you'll ask yourself why you didn't check them out sooner.
Just make sure you chose the finger that's right for you to make it work best. Might start with the ring finger.

I wanted to like these. They cut well overall and fit well in the hand. It's nice that they always spring back open. However, I find that they cramp my hand with long use. The blades also struggle with thicker yarns or when the material is not perfectly taut. I thought not having to flip scissors around and open them up might help shave precious seconds. However, after a few multi-hour sessions, I'm finding that it's no faster and in some instances slower due to struggles with cuts and the hand cramping. Back to my traditional looped scissors held in hand.
