Never tied a 20 before, compared to a size 18 - only a little smaller. Just wanted to see if I could. The good news is I can, used 5X magnifying glasses (to see the small materials & what I'm doing). I also have to buy some smaller tippet, I could use 5X but I'm never going to thread a fly that small on the river. Okay, the hook - same over all dimensions as the 14s, 16s, & 18s, proportionally. Thought I'd have to be extra careful so as not to bend it, it's tougher than it looks. Haven't fished with it yet but I'm sure it will hold up fine. Barbless of course, I'd hate to try crushing a barb that small. The gap is a little wider than other dry fly hooks, which makes it a little easier tying. I'm very happy with my purchase.
