The hook is very similar to the klinkhammer hook ...It has the added feature 1x wide gape... Firehole Outdoors are excellent hooks...

Bought these scud hooks to replace my go-to daiichi 1120s. While I was prepared for a lighter wire, I was not prepared to have the hooks breaking in the vise and bending out of shape after landing a couple medium sized trout on the Farmington. I’m sure if I gave them a another chance I would get used to tying on such a light wire, but I can’t get over how beat up they got after a slow day on the water.
