14/0 Sheer Ultrafine Thread

Been using this more and more over the years! Bought it originally in the primrose for midges (they crush), but have been adding all of the colors of the last year and find myself reaching for them a lot.

A strong flexible thread that will lay flat when spun counter clock wise. Builds little bulk. Excellent choice for dry fly work yet strong enough for nymph work. A great thread to work with using many of the modern fly tying techniques. It is used for all of the Feather Benders ( Barry Ord Clarke ) flies.

Was skeptical of all the hype about Sheer thread.. until I put a spool of it into play. The Sheer Ultrafine is among the absolute best threads I've ever used in more than 60 years of putting thread on a hook for securing materials.
Almost ready to declare it THE best, but have more techniques to try with it.
