Glass Bobbin

Made a mistake and bought some Rite Bobbins a few years ago so Im replacing them with something I know works. I usually use a ceramic bobbin, but decided to try some of these glass bobbins from Dr. Slick. I like how this bobbin feels in my hand. Its relatively easy to thread them (I do not like the idea of using a bobbin threader because I dont want to possibly scratch the inside of the tube leading to thread breakage). As I said, I usually use ceramic bobbins, and with these glass bobbins, I'll say that I have experienced fewer thread breakages but it hasn't eliminated it totally (I doubt any bobbin could)

Got this to try to manage breakages in my tying thread while tying and it is disappointing to know it still breaks with this product. It still catches and clips the thread. Still searching for a better product

I have several bobbins, including high-end ones. I love these. I keep one loaded with wire and two others with different threads.
