I'm Brian Smith, and I'm from Stanley, Virginia, which is a tiny town of about 2000 people, nestled in the Shenandoah Valley. I usually fish the Hawksbill Creek or Shenandoah river, and I target everything from trout to smallmouth.

We would like to welcome our new Pro Tyer, Brian Smith!

Brian Smith is from Stanley, Virginia, a tiny town of about 2000 people, nestled in the Shenandoah Valley. He usually fishes the Hawksbill Creek or Shenandoah river, targeting everything from trout to smallmouth. He started tying in September of 2022 and, after tattooing for 18 years, transitioned into the fly fishing industry full time. He specializes in realistic flies, but enjoys tying just about everything that you can think of.
