Tying with UNI Yarn as dubbing gives you the perfect body everytime. Just add a few extra wraps as you get closer to eye of the hook and you have a a perfectly tapered body.

Great body material

I bought a spool of this to tie a certain pattern that called for it. After that I bought an assortment of basic colors. It is really a great material for wet fly bodies. I have been using it for Flymph bodies, I especially like the "Insect Green", a very nice natural color. I also like that you can tie it on like thread and whip finish it. The colors easily match UNI Thread colors as well. I am looking forward to creating some new flies this winter using UNI Yarn.

Great yarn

This is a great yarn. It is really small in diameter so you can weave a nice body with it and not have a lot of bulk. I bought it to weave extended bodies on mono and it looks top notch when finished.

Shortcut For Dubbing

As others have stated this is a great material for bodies, especially ones that are dubbed. I used the yellow yarn to tie stimulators. The yarn gives a very neat & uniform body.

Got all colors to set up a nice winter bench. Like to use this in place of dubbing at times as well as other body material. Great to experiment with.
