Late season hides graded for length (1 1/2 to 3 inches), minimum underfur, good textures, straightness and hair density on the hide. Suitable for a wide range of spinning applications.
This deer hair has been excellent for my muddlers. I have also used it on dry flies. Great quality!

I ordered 3 patches...
I ordered 3 patches of this hair. Two were excellent - nice color, flares out nicely, good length. However, the third was really too short to tie effectively. Kind of surprising, because Nature's Spirit materials are generally first rate.
