It does make a hard plastic like finish if you blend it with V10 Glow Powder....I use it to make Glow fleas for ice fishing.

does not create a hard "plastic like" finish like epoxy.but if you want a quicker easier method for a coated,protected head on a fly this is it-when your done tying your flies dip them in the jar as far as you would like the fly to be coated,than hang to dry.thats it no mixing part a and b,no turning your fly,etc.i ussualy do 2 or 3 dips,letting it dry between dips.

So far this is the best head cement I have used! Excellent for saltwater flies and teasers! Leaves a nice smooth, clear but flexible finish!
