This thread is a stranded form of GSP which has incredible strength for its size. Advertised as "almost unbreakable", it allows tying techniques never before possible while minimizing thread build-up on small flies. Loosely twisted, it is the only GSP thread that can be split for dubbing loops, although it is fine enough to be doubled for loops without excessive build-up. The white thread takes marker colors easily. This 30 denier thread has a breaking strength of 40 oz. (1.14 kg). 50 meters per spool.
You'll need a good pair of scissors for this thread.

Great thread for small flies!
This is a must have for tying small flies. Great color selection too.

Not super impressed
Bought the purple colored spool and once I started using it the dye from the thread has completely stained the inside tip of my bobbin. Thus might not seem like a big deal but when you switch to white thread and there is traces of purple on it it's kind of a bummer. Wondering if it's gonna bleed once the fly gets wet.
