I bought this line in 2020 when I started fly fishing. I got the WF4F. Put it on a 3/4 Eagle Claw Black Eagle reel. I used it for Hickory Shad fishing early on in a large river. It works good for fishing on small rivers or creeks. Cast is good for about 30 ft. I learned to roll cast using this line. It’s November 2025 and I’m looking for something else. This line is looking old. The backing I used is red and the red color is starting to bleed into the fly line. It’s still useful, but I just don’t like the way it looks. Line is getting stiffer to cast. I’m looking to upgrade. Great line if you’re on a budget or starting out. I feel like I got my moneys worth. But still looking to upgrade.

Good
Not a bad line for the money. Gets very stiff during cooler weather but it works . Mine became more of a sinking line after the first season. After cleaning and using dressing , the line would float descent for an hour or so then it would start sinking again.
