These are super nice, high quality dyed peacock eyes. Purchased specifically to strip to make quill body flies of specific fly patterns, which they do a great job of doing. They're easy to strip and they have a fantastic color range to cover most fly patterns. They're bleached before they're dyed so they take on the color throughout, even if they're not stripped for quill body fly patterns. It's a nice touch for such a staple fly tying material.
