I call this fly the Flounder Snack because that's pretty much all I've caught with it over the last couple of years. That isn't a bad thing. It's actually based on Jeff Blood's White Death steelhead fly. Which almost by accident, I found to work really well on summer flounder in the salt.

Materials
Hook: Mustad 34007, size 1.
Back/tail: Rabbit Zonker strip, white.
Thread: UTC 140 Denier or 8/0, red.
Body: Pearl chenille, large.
Eyes: Dumbbell eyes, large, pearl-colored.
