Did someone say ALASKABOU?!!

Reviewer: from California USA

If you're tying soft hackle streamers, Alaskabous or any similar streamer, this is the marabou you want. Thin, tapered tips provide the desired effect. Hareline's attention to dyes produces consistent color matches from batch to batch. The colors depicted on the color chart above are precisely what you can expect. These aren't big bargain bags, but the value here is the quality of the product. And tying marabou patterns is much less frustrating when you start with select feathers.

The colors on these marabou feathers were very consistent. The entire feather was dyed well even down into the stem. Marabou feathers are great for tails on wooly buggers and streamers. Not many materials move as well underwater as marabou does.

These are good, full feathers. I often mix two colors when tying with these and what's good about these is that the colors do not bleed into each other.

Good for the price...

Reviewer: from South Glens Falls, NY US

Some of the colors had imperfections in the dye (white spots on the feathers). Over all good quality and quantity for the price. Most of the Quills can be wrapped around hooks and colors don't bleed. I would buy and use them again.

Color safe

Reviewer: from North GA

This is good, durable marabou. The shafts on a few in the pack can be thick, but the barbs are full and soft.
