FW524 Freshwater Super Dry Fly Hook

Wonderful hook for tying Klinkhammers, whether the "original" or your own variations of them. Proper placement of your wing and hackle will put the body in the correct attitude for emerging flies.
A good hook to try for a 'hanging body' parachute fly.

This Hook has done wonders for me! the quality is unmatched and i have landed several rainbows in the 19"+ range easily. I do enjoy the Heavier Wire since i use these as Nymph hooks.

Nice looking hook. Strong and sharp. I'm docking a star because the picture doesn't match the product. The hooks themselves are straight eye, and the picture is down eye. And I'm docking a second star because "super dry" is a bit of a misnomer. Wire is a little more heavy duty than that, and I'd call this a nymph/dry hook. Comparable to, say, the partridge k4ay grub/shrimp hook or daiichi 1120 but with a wider looking gap and a straight eye. Not a bad thing, I often like a sturdy hook, but not really "super dry."
