Fulling Mill Masterclass Tapered Leaders are built from an advanced nylon formulation that delivers the turnover consistency serious dry fly and nymph fishing demands. The taper geometry transfers energy smoothly from the fly line tip through the butt section and down toward the tippet, so wind-resistant patterns — elk hair caddis, hopper-dropper rigs, heavy tungsten nymphs — turn over without collapsing or piling at the leader-tippet junction.
There are two length options available. The 9ft length covers the majority of trout fishing situations and is available in 8 sizes to match everything from fine-tippet dry fly presentations on spring creeks to heavier streamer leaders on moving water. The 12ft option extends reach for more delicate presentations — flat-water risers, spooky tailwater trout, technical nymphing rigs where keeping the fly line further from the fish matters.
