This is a strong, waxed fly tying continuous polyester filament thread, measuring 72 denier. It has a breaking strength of 19 oz. Lies flat on the hook, strong for its diameter. 200 yd. spools.

Good midge thread used for less build up and small heads

Love this thread
Use the 8/0 for about 80% of my tying nowadays. Everything from midges to my big articulated streamers. Only time I don't use 8/0 is if I have to put a lot of pressure on some material.
