This is a strong, waxed fly tying continuous polyester filament thread, measuring 72 denier. It has a breaking strength of 19 oz. Lies flat on the hook, strong for its diameter. 200 yd. spools.
Use the 8/0 for about 80% of my tying nowadays. Everything from midges to my big articulated streamers. Only time I don't use 8/0 is if I have to put a lot of pressure on some material.

Been using Uni thread...
Been using Uni thread for over 20 years. I love the strength it has and the myriad of colors available. Doesnt split as easy as UTC but makes a strong dubbing loop and wont fray easily.
