Round bend, down eye, 3X long, 2X strong wire, micro barb, bronzed; Uses: Classic nymph. This hook style is equivalent to the Mustad Classic 9671 hook, although it is 3X long compared to the Classic 9671 hook which is 2X long.
Some patterns call for a 4x hook, but I like to switch to this slightly smaller 3x and tie the same pattern. I find that having a slightly different size sometimes makes a difference in catching or not. This has been a great hook for me and the price is great.

Great streamer hook

You can't beat the quality for the price on these. I really like these for tying larger streamers. In past years Mustad got a bad rap for dull hooks but these are chemically sharpened and plenty sharp!

This is my go-to 2x Streamer hook, I use it for tying the squirelly cuss and some small scale bunny leeches. They stay sharp and are very rigid.
