Wound like chenille, this braid has many reflective surfaces with pearlescent tones to give the fly a sparkling, lifelike body. Makes perfect bodies for both saltwater and freshwater patterns. 4 yards per package.
Usually we think of braid for bodies but I'll use it for heads and hot spots. Really useful and durable, I'm really happy with it.

Works great on traditional bonefish flies for bodies. Promotes harder hits and longer chases.

Love this stuff for doing bodies on streamers. Try using them for slumpbusters particularly. Nice flash, but not too flashy.

Great for Crystal Meth patterns

I love this stuff for tying crystal meth patterns for great lakes steelhead. It's soft, so you can use a lighter thread and avoid making bulky flies.

Good for Gotchas
Reviewer: A viewer

Got this because I couldn't find tan in the flat braid to tie up some different colored Gotchas. Works good for the body wrap, but a little harder to lay flat, you have to pull on it and still a little bulky. You also can't comb it out into individual strands, as it is one continuous strand weaved together. Good color, just limited in it's uses compared to flat braid.
