Todd Turner’s Big Easy Scud blends translucence and subtle movement into a remarkably lifelike scud imitation. Built on a Stretch Glass underbody and finished with sparse split-thread touch dubbing, the pattern captures the natural glow and delicate leggy motion of real scuds—especially in tailwaters where fish see the real thing every day.
Todd keeps the profile slim and realistic, adding just a hint of orange to suggest egg sacs commonly seen on live scuds. The result is a sparse, light-passing pattern that looks alive in the water without unnecessary bulk or flash.

It would be nice if the price was included, but how? It cost the same to ship a single spool of thread as it does several high dollar hackles. So, any company would loose their shirts on those nickle and dime orders, like a single spool of thread. If no multitiered shipping schedule was in existence, a company would quickly go out of business. Then, how would that work out for getting our tying materials? At least this way there is a fair, if not pleasant, way to make it cost effective for you and a company.
No, I do not represent any company, just an old Engineer that has been around a time or hundred.
