Great hook. The wire is thicker than a Snickers

Very high quality product but the wire is heavier than my mother-in-law. The regular XS506 already has a heavy wire hook so please consider whether you are horsing up seventy-five pound grouper before buying the Heavy model.

Umpqua quality, very sharp, but I underestimated the thickness of the wire used. I love tying deep clousers on these hooks. I cant take away stars because it was my fault that I didn't read up enough on the gauge of wire used. Still great hooks.
