This premium 14/0 midge thread from Veevus in Denmark is stronger than many other comparable threads and will not result in excessive build-up. 100 meters per spool.
I bought 4 different brands of orange thread trying to find the best non-flour orange for Guide's Choice nymphs and Frenchie nymphs and the Veevus orange is the best. All others turned dull when UV glue is applied or were fluorescent (which I didn't want). 14/0 is strong and won't build bulk but 12/0 or 10/0 are better for all-around fly tying use.

Best For Red Collars
The Veevus Red is the best for red collars. I bought 3 different brands of red only to find that they turn dull or don't keep their red pop, particularly after applying UV glue. 14/0 is pretty strong without the bulk.
