Ultimate Long Neck LED Tying Light

Way too bright. Blindingly so. I can’t believe Harrline even markets this PIS.

The light is bright, no problem with the brightness. The trouble is how to attach the light to a tying bench. You have two options provided with the light, a clamp and a small cover that screws on to the light and two SMALL screws that attach the cover to the bench/table/desk/work area. The clamp will only work if you have a sufficient overhang to attach the light. The cover that allows you to attach it to you bench does not provide enough support for the light. The 36" adjustable goose neck is LONG, and causes you to use some force to move the light to the right position. Too much force and the little cover and screws provided will pull right out of the bench or wherever you have it attached.

For this reason I would not recommend buying this light unless you have an area where you can use the clamp to attach the light to your work surface.

Just received this light today. Holy cow is it nice. Super bright, and the long extension is great. I have it attached to the side of my tying table and it is still over all the other lights I have there. Only thing I would say negative about this is the clamp is decent but would like it with a wider jaw.
