Used only for extremely small midge type flies. This thread enables even the novice to make good-looking small flies. 30 denier, has been measured at a breaking strength of 4 oz. 100 yds. per spool.
Really fine thread with adequate strength for any small midges and mays. Takes a marker well, but it seems to weaken the thread; it might be me.
Low strenght so tread lightly, but if you get the hang of it it's a superb product.
This brand of threads is excellent, this particular thread for small flies is exceptional. 100% recommended
