Wapsi's pine squirrel skins are soft tanned and dyed over natural in great colors. The short, dense and barred hair will allow you to tie smaller versions of strip flies. The strips are 1/16 inch to 1/8 inch wide and cut from the tail up to the neck of the hide, about 5-7 inches.
Used these to tie Eagan’s Poacher jig streamers. Perfect size and I get 3 or 4 flies per zonker strip. There are about 30 zonker strips per skin. The uncut portion of the squirrel provides a ton of great dubbing.

Best value for squirrel. The zonkers on the edges are good for smaller flies and the middle ones for bigger ones like slump busters. Shave off the fur on shoulders and head for awesome dubbing
