Bought this in the fluorescent orange as I could not get that color in the Mcflylon which is what I normally use. Let me start by saying the material, para post looks great on the water and is very easy to see.
However(and this is a big however for me), it is downright miserable to tie with. It comes in a ball leaving you with a mess to untangle a couple strands out of. Secondly, it is very kinked or crinkly stiff fibers. So when I'm tying a klinkhammer for example, which I tie like Tim Flagler where you cut the post material at an angle down the hook shank and wrap over it to form a tapered body. The material pokes out in every which direction making it darn near impossible to get covered in wraps without fibers peeking through. The same problem happens to a lesser degree when wrapping the post. Fibers just want to poke out at all different angles.
Yes the material is usable and you can overcome the struggles I mentioned but it much more time consuming than other materials available. I will stick with the Mcflylon for now
