Semperfli's smallest Nano Silk is sized at 24/0 or 20 denier. It consists of 12 filaments and can be split for even finer strands. While this GSP is 17 times stronger than steel of the same diameter, it has a low specific gravity so it floats on water. Its extremely small diameter allows for uses requiring no build-up including tricos and midges. 100 meters (109 yards) per spool.
I dislike this thread a lot. ItΓ’β¬β’s too slippy, doesnΓ’β¬β’t bind certain materials down properly and itΓ’β¬β’s over 7$ a spool for 100 yards? Come on. IΓ’β¬β’ll still with Veevus, Uni or Danvilles.

This has become my go-to thread for dries. I use the white and color it with markers. It's very strong and very thin. But, it will separate easlly when you need to put some dubbing between it.
