A small 'thread supported' tinsel that can be dispensed driectly from a spool, inserted into a fly tying bobbin. This makes tying small tinsel bodied flies fast and easy. Ideal for tying 'Perdigon' style midges and nymphs.
It's good tinsel but it does have a tendency to break and fall apart

I use this tinsel for ribbing on various dry flys to add some flash and durability without the weight of wire. Love the look of it but sometimes it frays as the two layers of the tinsel come apart.

I use this for perdigons and it's great! Like the other reviewer I agree it can be a bit difficult to work with, but the results are worth the effort.
