J2 230 3X Long Nymph Hook

One of my favorite hooks for foam hoppers and stone flies.

excellent all around hook... very similar to the old standard Mustad 9672 but with a smaller barb and sharper out of the pack point. Extremely versatile for nymphs, woollie worms, woollie buggers, small streamers, hoppers, muddlers, chernobyl ants, GFAs, on and on. A great all-around hook for trout, panfish, bass flies. Buying more now.. I've found them to be very sharp and consistent hooks, very nice matte gray color which blends with almost everything, and well tempered but not brittle.

I use these on my buggar & variants , leech & muddler patterns with excellent results. Even though it's a nymph hook it's still strong enough for heavy fish.
